Introduced for 2018, the Panigale V4 marked Ducati’s move to a four-cylinder engine for its main superbike range. The Speciale was the flagship version at launch, with production limited to 1,500 numbered examples.
This example is number 0558/1500, identified by the engraving on its machined top yoke. It wears the Speciale’s red, white and green livery, complemented by gold Marchesini forged magnesium wheels.
The 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 features a counter-rotating crankshaft and Ducati’s desmodromic valve system, with a quoted output of 214hp in standard form. The chassis specification includes electronically controlled Öhlins suspension, Brembo Stylema front brakes and a single-sided swingarm.
Alongside the magnesium wheels, this bike is fitted with an Akrapovič exhaust, Rizoma fuel cap, Rizoma bar ends and Rizoma rearsets. Carbon-fibre details include the front mudguard, rear hugger and heel guards. The black seat features red stitching and Speciale embroidery, while the tricolour paintwork continues across the tank and tail.
The model’s electronic equipment includes selectable riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control and adjustable engine-braking control. An up-and-down quickshifter and five-inch colour TFT display complete the specification.
Its recorded service history is entirely with Pro Twins, starting in July 2018 at six miles and continuing through to May 2026. The latest service entry records 2,322 miles.
