1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 on Air
1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 2
Whether you believe the noble quest to ‘Make Green Great Again’ has been achieved or not, cars such as this 1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 make a very strong case for the cause.
First registered on 14 September 1990, the car is finished in the gorgeous shade of Forest Green paired with cream leather interior. The car presents excellently today, having been thoroughly serviced throughout its life.
The car is complete with a large history file dating back to the 1990s, showing regular maintenance alongside larger expenses such as paintwork and fitment of a Cobra tracker.
The stamped service book is full of big names in the Porsche world - AFN, Autofarm, Paragon - and was subject to a full engine rebuild by Porsche Centre Wimslow in December 2018 at 126,702 miles and a cost of almost £11,000.
Aside from the colour combination, this car is of course separated from the rest by the dialled-in stance. This is the work of industry heavyweights Plush Automotive, who have fitted this car with a full air ride suspension system paired with Fuchs style wheels. The end result is a versatile 911, which can go from subtle Outlaw to full on lowrider at the flick of a switch.
Alongside this the car also boasts a Plush custom audio installation, some of which can be seen in the stunning under bonnet installation. All of this work was carried out by Plush in June 2020, the specifications of which are below:
Audison Prima 5.9 Bit 5 Channel
Audison Prima APS 8 D 8" Subwoofer
Blaupunkt Bremen SQR46 Retro Classic headunit
Bespoke under dash sub box amplifier
Seamless 1.5 gallon tank 18" x 6"
Seamless demonstration skinny tanks
Full under bonnet rebuild in leather and alcantara with hardlines, trimmed tank, illumination and glass lid
With a recent engine rebuild, subtle and perfectly executed custom work and that colour combination, this 964 is a special example available for viewing at our West London showroom now.
