The MV Agusta F4 1000 R312 represents the very peak of Italian superbike excess from the late 2000s - Tamburini’s final evolution of the F4 shape, paired with one of the most dramatic engines ever fitted to a road bike. Capable of 312 km/h (hence the name), this is a machine that blends art, engineering, and outright theatre in a way few motorcycles ever have.

This particular example, finished in Rosso Red, presents as an honest, well-kept bike with a comprehensive history file that speaks to careful ownership and consistent use rather than storage-led neglect.

Supplied with a plethora of paperwork dating back through its life, the bike shows a reassuringly consistent mileage progression, now reading just over 22,000 miles. The history reflects steady, sensible use, with no irregular jumps or periods of inactivity.

The MOT record is strong throughout, with the bike passing consistently. Advisories noted over the years are typical of a machine of this type and age - tyres nearing limits, light chain wear, and most recently a minor misting from the front shock absorber, all of which have been addressed accordingly.

Accompanying the MOT history is service documentation from Black Dog Motorcycles, including a comprehensive service and preparation covering:

Oil and filter change (Motorex Power Syn 10W/60)
Spark plugs
Battery replacement
General inspection, lubrication, and setup
Exhaust repair work

It also recently had:

General inspection, lubrication, and set
Discs and pads
Tyres (Michelin Pilot Power)
Valve service
Rear hub service
Radiator mount modification
Full panel off detail and ceramic coat

This is a bike that has been maintained to be used and enjoyed, rather than simply displayed.

The F4 R312 remains one of the most visually arresting superbikes ever built - four underseat pipes, single-sided swingarm, and a silhouette that has become a modern classic. Values of these later, higher-performance F4 variants continue to strengthen as collectors and enthusiasts recognise their significance.
An opportunity to acquire a well-documented and properly used example of one of MV Agusta’s most iconic machines.

As ever, we have a full digital file available on request, including additional images, walkaround videos, and service history scans. The car is available to view by appointment at our West London showroom.

"His practical and no nonsense approach is refreshing to deal with and his passion and knowledge is extensive, along with his integrity in business. I made a decision to only filter my ‘jungle’ finds through the Duke of London, after we had transacted the first two sales."
