1971 Mercedes-Benz 350SL R107
 
We have just taken this car in part exchange and it is priced to clear. Finished in Signal Red with Black Hard Top roof and folding Black Mohair Soft Top. The car has a black and grey interior.
 
This SL is equipped with the renowned M117 3.5 litre V8 mated to an automatic gearbox.
 
Being a 1971, the first year of production for the R107, it is now ULEZ, tax and MOT exempt.
 
The car runs and drives and was serviced just before we took it in by the previous owner. We have driven and used the car and it runs and drives very well.
 
The body and interior present well but are not without defects - please see pictures. We have a walk-around video available by request that shows the car in more detail.
 
There is very little rust on the exterior of the car on the body but there are some areas on the underside around the front inner arches and floor pan/sills. It is nothing terrifying though, however would require some welding to get to an MOT standard.
 
It came to us with very little service history. The odometer reads 187,000 miles.
 
This would make a great first classic or rolling project.
